The battery life seems to not be lasting a long time. This could be caused by accidentally leaving the speaker on with the bluetooth. If the speaker is turned off and the battery still drains quickly, a new replacement battery may be needed. See the battery replacement guide. Batteries are very common to wear down if the device is used heavily.

When the charger is inserted into the speaker and the speaker does not charge, the charging port may be damaged or broken. It may also only charge when the USB cord is held in a specific place. The contacts inside the speaker may have been disturbed. This is a commonly caused by handling the speaker by the charging cable. A replacement charging port may need to be installed. See the USB charger replacement guide.

When the speaker charges slowly when the charger is inserted into the speaker and the outlet is functional, it may be a sign of a bad battery. Especially if the speaker is used heavily, the battery can be worn down over time. A replacement battery will need to be installed.

All battery related issues should reference the battery replacement guide here

It is possible that, when the battery on the Oontz Angle 3 Ultra is low, the bluetooth features will not function. Try recharging the battery until it is full, before trying again.

The Oontz Angle 3 Ultra may already be connected to another device, it can only be connected to one at a time, so to pair the device, disconnect the other device, and then try to pair the speaker again.

The Bluetooth module may be too far away from the device that you wish to pair. To make sure this is not the problem, place them close together and try again.

There may be a temporary connection issue between the two devices, first turn off the Oontz Angle 3 Ultra, and turn it back on again. If this fails, try doing the same to the device that you are trying to pair it with. To reset the speaker, press and hold the power button for three seconds.

If all measure fail, a replacement motherboard may need to be installed, see the motherboard replacement guide here

If the speaker is connected by Bluetooth and the audio is scratchy or of poor quality, there are many possible causes for the issue.

The speaker may be too far away from the source, in this case simply moving closer should improve quality.

The speaker may be having trouble syncing, in this case disconnect and turn off the speaker or the source, then turn them back on and reconnect them to reset their connection.

Some source devices’ bluetooth systems work better when their wifi signals are disconnected, try turning off wifi to cancel out interfering signals.

If the speaker is plugged into the charging port and an auxiliary cable is being used to transmit the sound, it is possible for there to be a buzzing sound. If there is this sound under these circumstances, unplug the charging cable, or plug it into another source.

You can hear sound coming out of your speaker, but have trouble listening to it because the volume is too low.

First, verify that the auxiliary cable connected to the speaker’s 3.5mm input is securely connected. Test your auxiliary cable in a different device. If audio comes through at full volume in this other device, then there may be an issue with the Oontz Angle 3 Ultra’s 3.5mm input jack. Follow this replacement guide for the speaker’s 3.5mm input jack.

Press the volume up button until the blue light on the button side of the speaker is blinking. The speaker is now at full volume. Now adjust the volume on your device until you can hear audio coming out of the speaker. If the audio coming out of your speaker is still low, the amplifier circuit on the motherboard may be faulty. Follow this replacement guide for the Oontz Angle 3 Ultra’s motherboard.
