Player won’t show signs of turning on
- Check the power outlet to ensure that it is providing power. If necessary, test with other devices or check other outlets.Check that all cords are properly connected and that there is no damage to the cords. If the cords are damaged then replace as necessary. Check if the power light turns on after replacement.
Disk is inserted but unable to play
Try to clean using microfiber, using outward strokes from center to outside edgeTest using another disk. If it works then original disk is faulty.

Player is unable to access the internet
Make sure your wireless network is working with other devices, and is set up according to your internet provider’s specifications
If it is only the wireless reciever that is broken, try running an ethernet cable into the port labelled “LAN” on the back panel of the player. If this does not provide internet access, consider replacing the WiFi Module, see Panasonic DMP-BD89 Wifi Board Replacement for details.

Unplug all cables and USB devices from the playerUnplug the power, wait for 30 seconds to a minute, and then reconnect and turn on the player.
