- Remove the back battery cap from the device by twisting it to the unlock position and pulling.

- Remove the black trimmer cap from the top of the device by gently pulling it.

- Use a metal spudger to pry apart the silver plastic case.
- Pull each side of the plastic case off.

- Unscrew one 20mm Phillips #00 screw.

- Remove the rubber stopper from the top of the motor shaft by gently pulling it off.

- Use a pair of tweezers to remove the plastic cover of the motor shaft by pulling it away from the motor.

- Remove the motor from the case by sliding the cover off of it.
