Cassette Holder Spring
- Remove the three screws from the back of the device body.
- Remove both screws from the battery compartment.
- Remove the back of the device.
- All screws in the body of this device are the same size.
- When pulling apart the device, both sides are connected by a cord that could be damaged if care is not taken.

Step 2
- Make sure the brass colored spring by the cassette door is in the correct position.
- Remove the screw that holds the spring if broken.
- Remove the spring from the device.

- Replace the old spring with the new spring, making sure that it is installed in the correct position.
- Insert the screw back into position, ensuring that it holds the spring.
- If the spring is loose, tighten the screw.
