Step 1

              Cassette Holder Spring               
  • Remove the three screws from the back of the device body.
  • Remove both screws from the battery compartment.
  • Remove the back of the device.
  • All screws in the body of this device are the same size.
  • When pulling apart the device, both sides are connected by a cord that could be damaged if care is not taken.

Step 2

  • Make sure the brass colored spring by the cassette door is in the correct position.
  • Remove the screw that holds the spring if broken.
  • Remove the spring from the device.

Step 3

  • Replace the old spring with the new spring, making sure that it is installed in the correct position.
  • Insert the screw back into position, ensuring that it holds the spring.
  • If the spring is loose, tighten the screw.
