Step 1

              Cassette Holder Spring

Remove the three screws from the back of the device body.
Remove both screws from the battery compartment.
Remove the back of the device.
All screws in the body of this device are the same size.
When pulling apart the device, both sides are connected by a cord that could be damaged if care is not taken.

Step 2

Make sure the brass colored spring by the cassette door is in the correct position.
Remove the screw that holds the spring if broken.
Remove the spring from the device.

Make sure the brass colored spring by the cassette door is in the correct position.

Remove the screw that holds the spring if broken.

Remove the spring from the device.

Step 3

Replace the old spring with the new spring, making sure that it is installed in the correct position.
Insert the screw back into position, ensuring that it holds the spring.
If the spring is loose, tighten the screw.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
