Optical Drive
- Orient the laptop onto its top and face the bottom towards you.
- Remove the 3 mm Phillips #00 screws securing the Wi-Fi card/optical drive plastic cover.

- Remove the 5 mm Phillips #00 screw on the silver tab to the left.

- Reach under the silver tab and push the optical drive out of the side of the device using a spudger.

- Now that the drive is completely disconnected from the device, slide the optical drive out of its slot.
- The end of the drive may seem to be stuck inside the device during removal. If this is the case gently wiggle the drive side to side and apply a small force until it pops free.
