What you need

Step 1

              USB port               
  • Remove the three 6.4 mm Phillips #1 screws on the back of the device with a Phillips head screwdriver.
  • Remove the 6.4 mm Phillips #1 screws on each side of the device.

Step 2

  • Remove the top plate of the DVD by firmly grasping the player on both sides.
  • Shift the top plate towards the backside of the player.
  • Lift the back half of the top plate up to remove it from the player.

Step 3

  • Locate the bundled cable connectors that attaches the USB port to the motherboard.
  • Firmly grasp the bundled cable connector and lift it from the motherboard.

Step 4

  • Locate the area behind the USB port within the interior of the DVD Player.
  • Unscrew the two 6.35 mm Phillips #1 screws located behind the USB port.

Step 5

  • Use the plastic opening tool to press down on the brass clip that holds the USB port in place.
  • Pull back the USB Port to remove it from the DVD player.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
