Chrome redraws the image in greyscale, adding a blur, and then drawing thin, black lines along blurred edges. Highlights are raised, and shadows are dipped. The result is a metallic, bumpy/raised effect.

Chrome works on 8 Bit, RGB, grayscale, and Multichannel images, and Smart Objects. This filter is part of the Filter Gallery.

Chrome is part of Adobe Photoshop’s Extended Filters.
