De-Interlace replaces every other row (or column) with an extrapolation from its neighbors to remove older video format scanlines. The De-Interlace filter’s parameters are eliminate (odd or even lines) and create new fields (by duplication or interpolation).

De-Interlace works on 8 Bit, 16 Bit, 32 Bit, RGB, grayscale, and Multichannel images, and Smart Objects. This filter launches another window with options.
De-Interlace is part of Adobe Photoshop’s Extended Filters.
