Median normalizes the brightness of each pixel with similar ones around it. Its parameter is radius.
Median works on 8 Bit, 16 Bit, RGB, grayscale, CMYK, and Multichannel images, and Smart Objects. This filter launches another window with options.
Median is part of Adobe Photoshop’s Extended Filters.
