Reduce Noise allows fine-tuning of the noise in an image, reducing it based on several parameters that can be saved and loaded or deleted. It has two modes, basic and advanced (which also allows per-channel settings). Reduce Noise’s parameters are strength, preserve details, reduce color noise, sharpen details, and remove JPEG artifacts. For the red, green, and blue channels, the parameters are strength and preserve details.
Noise is often found in low-light photos and JPG images.
Reduce Noise works on 8 Bit, 16 Bit, RGB, grayscale, CMYK, and Multichannel images, and Smart Objects. This filter launches another window with options.
Reduce Noise is part of Adobe Photoshop’s Extended Filters.
