What you need

  • Place the device face down on a non-scratch surface.

  • Using a fingernail pry open the back cover off with the bottom left indent.

              Battery
  • Using a fingernail, press into the bottom divot and remove the battery from the phone.

              Motherboard
  • Use a spudger or plastic opening tool to pry off the plastic cover.

  • Use a spudger to lift the ZIF tabs and press-fit connectors free.

  • Use a spudger to lift the motherboard up and remove it from the device.

              Front and Rear Camera
  • Use a spudger to remove the rear camera.

  • Use a spudger to remove the front camera.

Use a spudger to remove the front camera.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
