The Elite F4 doesn’t turn on or respond to commands

The power cord should be completely plugged into the lowest port at the back of the speaker. Make sure that it is connected to a working outlet.

If the power cord has been frayed or damaged in any areas, you may need to replace it.

When the microphone is turned off, Alexa won’t respond to voice commands, so try pressing the microphone mute button and then give a simple voice command. An indicator that the microphone might be off would be the light ring lit up red.

The speaker isn’t connecting to the Wi-Fi or connects, but cannot maintain the connection.

Ensure your speaker is close enough to the Wi-Fi router or away from anything that may cause interference, such as microwaves or baby monitors.

If the Wi-Fi is password protected, double check your password through the app or try disconnecting and reconnecting after 30 seconds.

Check your router to make sure the network is on and working. Turn off your router for 30 seconds, then turn it back on. This resets your router and disconnects all devices on the Wi-Fi.

If the device can connect to the Wi-Fi, however cannot maintain the connection, the Wi-Fi card may be faulty and need replacement.

Some public Wi-Fi networks (e.g. airports or college campuses) are not compatible with this device.

The audio sounds muffled, too high, too bass heavy or otherwise distorted.

If the speaker sounds muffled, check first to see that you have removed all plastic wrap and packaging off of the speaker.

If the speaker’s volume is too high or too low, the sound may not come out at the best quality. To lower or raise the volume, you can press the “-” or “+” buttons respectively, next to the word “VOL” at the top of the speaker.

If audio distortion persists, the speaker may have a problem with its circuitry inside the speaker, and you may need to have it replaced.

If the bass of the music sounds too heavy even without the volume at max, you may need to replace or repair the tweeters inside the speaker.

If the pitch of the speaker sounds too high, there may be no bass being reflected, which may result from a faulty woofer that needs to be repaired or replaced.

No sound can be heard even though it should be playing

Press on the “+” button on the top of the speaker next to “VOL” a couple of times to ensure that the volume on the speaker is not too low.

Check the volume on the connected cell phone or other device to make sure that the volume is not too low. Try using the buttons or settings on the device to change the volume.

If you are using the auxiliary cord to play audio from another device, make sure that the device is securely connected to the speaker through the auxiliary cord. Disconnect and reconnect the cord to ensure that it is properly connected.

Music capabilities and Alexa will not work unless the speaker is connected to a Wi-Fi network. Setup the Wi-Fi by holding the Wi-Fi button on the back of the speaker for 8 seconds.
