Plastic Tooth Zipper Size

Before you get a replacement zipper, you need to know what size and pull type to get. While pull type is not critical, you can use the image below to select a preference. So long as the zipper is the right size and type, it will work fine.

Plastic tooth zippers come in three sizes: 3VS, 4VS, and 5VS. To find your zipper size, turn the zipper over and look on the back of the slider. Another place to look for zipper size is on the bottom of the zipper box. Note that on the bottom of the zipper box the number for the size will be the same (i.e. 3, 4, 5) but the “VS” will be replaced with an “S” in some cases.

Lastly, you need to know your preference for pull type. Take a look at the image below and choose your preference.
