Introduction

Before starting, make sure to clean the controller of debris so the replacement is easier. Usually, thumbsticks can become worn out over multiple times of use, so replacing them can help with better gameplay. The pieces of this replacement can be fairly small, so having a steady hand and organization will be useful. This repair may seem unneeded because you can buy a new controller instead. Just doing this replacement can save you money and time. New parts may be required for this so make sure to buy your correct replacement parts in advance on either the Xbox website or your local gaming store.
