What you need

              Preparation               
  • Place the PowerBook Duo 230 on a clean table and prepare a Torx T8 screwdriver.

              Battery               
  • Push in the button as far as it will go.
  • Press and hold the button then simultaneously slide the battery cover to the left.
  • For greater security, you can now remove the battery.

Step 3

              Torx Screws               
  • Loosen the 2 Torx screws.
  • The screws are the same.

              Keyboard Removal               
  • Turn your PowerBook over and open it.
  • Now you have to lift up the keyboard. Lift the keyboard by the upper part.

Step 5

              Keyboard Connector               
  • Disconnect the keyboard from the Logicboard.
  • Now you need to move the small levers in every corner up. Be careful, small parts can break easily!
  • Gently pull out the flex cable.

Gently pull out the flex cable.

Follow the steps in reverse order to reassemble your device.
