  • The air inlet filter cannot be cleaned or fixed, you must replace it if you are having a problemYour ventilator must have a filter in itDo not operate the ventilator with a dirty filter, you need to replace itIf your ventilator is installed directly on a wheelchair, check it more often than recommended

For more information on replacing the air inlet filter, please refer to page 8-2 (figure 8.1) in the service manual.

  • Hold the filter between your fingers and pinch. Pull the filter outwards (towards you).

  • Remove the filter and discard it. Do not save it. When removed, it should look like the attached image.

Step 3

  • Place the new filter in the device by making sure that:
  • a. The fine particle side of the filter faces outwards, away from the ventilator.
  • b. The filter is properly installed in its housing. Proper installation of the filter prevents particles from entering the device. Remember that the air inlet filter is not reusable; do not wash, clean, or reuse it!

There is no reassembly needed after replacing the inlet filter.
