- Begin the tear down with a Phillips PH00 screwdriver.
- Remove two 1.2mm x 3mm Phillips screws.

- Use a plastic opening tool to pry open the case.
- Do not remove the back case completely as tape has to be removed from the wires, and pulling the case apart can tear off the wires that connect to the speaker.

- Carefully remove the tape over the wires connecting the speaker to the motherboard.

- Remove the speaker unit from the tablet and set aside.
