Removing the Case
- Use plastic opening tools to pry open the rear casing of the your Quantum Axis A23. Slide the tool along the edges to release the plastic tabs.
- Be careful not to crack front screen in the process.

Step 2
Cutting the Speaker Wiring
- Once the device is open, take the speaker’s wiring and cut both the red and black wires in the middle using the wire cutter/stripper tool. Then strip both the red and black wires with the same tool.
- Be careful when stripping wires as they are delicate and likely to break apart.

Step 3
- Take the new speaker and strip both the red and black wires in the middle with wire stripper/cutter tool.

Step 4
- Take the red wire from the speaker and the red wire from your device and twist the two ends together then wrap in electrical tape. Repeat this step for the black wires.

Place the speaker back in position and snap rear case in place to complete the repair.
