Tablet will not come on when power button is pushed.
Hold down power button (sleep button) for 30 seconds. Plug in tablet for one hour then hold down power button again. If tablet still does not power on hold down the power and volume up button at the same time.
Check the power cord to charger; test charger on another device . Look for flashing light on tablet to indicate that charge is powering tablet.

Plug the tablet into the wall charger and let the battery charge overnight. Then turn on the tablet the next morning. Windows will automatically launch the setup routine. After making a few quick selections, You will find your self looking at a usable Windows 8.1 Start Screen. The entire process will take about 5 minutes.
After that initial startup/setup sequence, the tablet now fully boot to the Start Screen in about 10 seconds.
