              Back Panel               

• Be sure to power off the device before beginning.
• Use a Torx T5 screwdriver to remove the ten 3 mm screws along the edge of the back panel.

• Remove the back panel from the laptop by sliding it away from the hinge.
• This device is missing the battery. Make sure to detach the battery connector before proceeding with laptop repairs.

Step 3

              Trackpad Button               

• Detach the two connectors from the motherboard by gently pulling them directly out of their ports with your fingers.

• Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove the two 3 mm screws holding the trackpad’s circuit board to the chassis.

• Remove the trackpad circuit board by holding one end and gently lifting it upwards.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
