The microphone will not respond or show any signs of audio.
If the microphone fails to respond, it is faulty. Microphone input that cuts in and out is often a sign of incorrect wiring. To check this, remove ear cup on the headset and unscrew the plate to reveal the wiring. Check that the microphone wiring is correct.
Over time headphones can collect dust or debris in the microphone. This can cause a lack of audio input, audio distortion, and much more. To fix this, use a compressed air duster to carefully remove the dust from the slots on the headphone. Another option is to use a toothpick and carefully scrape out any debris. Twist the toothpick around, pull it back out and wipe off, then report as needed.
The ports on your headsets appear to be broken and interfering with headphone connectivity.
Ensure the cable is plugged in completely, and the audio is playing from the headset clearly. If the audio is not playing, and the cable is plugged in, the wire is faulty. Consider purchasing a replacement cable.
If audio is not playing properly from the headset, check the port for debris. The cable may not be completely plugged in if the port contains debris. To clean debris, use a compressed air duster to carefully blow debris out of port. Also, wipe the audio jack with an alcohol wipe and let dry before reconnecting.

If audio is not playing properly, consider removing the ear cups from the headphones, After removing ear cups, remove the screws and view the wiring within the headset.
If you are noticing that no sound is coming from your Razer Kraken headphones, consider checking that your aux cord is connected fully into the device that is playing the sound. With gaming headphones, sometimes a simple disconnect and reconnect of the aux cord will fix the sound issues.

If the headband isn’t sitting firmly on your head, consider re-adjusting the length of the ear-cups by pulling them down or pushing them up. If that does not help there may be debris along the tracks of the ear-cups.
