              Speaker               
  • If the damaged speaker is in the left ear piece, remove the left ear cushion by rotating it counter clockwise (ear piece with microphone boom). For the right speaker, the right ear cushion must be turned clockwise to remove.
  • For additional information on removing the ear cushions, reference the Ear Cushions replacement guide.

Step 2

  • To get to the speaker you need to remove the six 5mm screws from the inner housing plate.
  • After doing this you can pull the housing apart exposing the speaker.

Step 3

  • Use a knife to cut the glue around the speaker that is holding it to the assembly.
  • Once the glue is cut, pry the speaker out. Cut the wires at the base of the speaker and then replace them.
  • A solder gun will be needed to solder the wires onto the new speaker.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
