Battery
- Begin by turning the mouse upside down.
- Loosen the two captive screws circled in the first image.
- These screws do NOT come out, they merely loosen.
- Slide the palm rest toward the back of the mouse. It should slide down its track and come right off.

- This is the bottom of the palm rest.
- Turning the knob highlighted by the red circle will change the height of the palm rest for maximum comfort.

- The battery compartment is on the back side and is easily viewed once the palm rest is removed. Simply push up gently and the hinged battery door opens from the bottom
- Place the new battery into circular slot shown in the picture. The battery should be placed in positive side first.
- You must use rechargeable batteries in this mouse.

Its fine… You just need to remember not to put it on the recharging base… and the battery will be basically dead after 24 hour use.

will any brand battery work or does the stock one have specific specs?
