What you need

Step 1

              Battery
  • Remove nine 4.8mm screws around the case with a JIS #00 screwdriver.

  • Insert plastic opening tool and slide it around the edges until the cover starts to pop off. It may be necessary to go over each side multiple times in order to pop the cover off.

  • Remove cover completely.

  • Disconnect battery cable from the motherboard.

  • Pull the thin black keyboard connector off and set it aside.

  • Disconnect the thick black band (bus) using a plastic opening tool or fingernail.

  • Use nylon spudger tool or plastic card to separate battery from the case.

  • Carefully peel off the battery.

              Speaker
  • Disconnect the speaker cord from the motherboard.

  • Use the plastic spudger to slide the speaker out.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
