  • Get refrigerant and read the pressure chart carefully. This is located on the side of the can.

  • Find and pull the lever to the hood on the driver’s side of the vehicle.

  • Lift the hood while pulling the lever under the center of the hood. Next, prop up the hood with the hood strut.

  • Locate the low-pressure port by following the low-pressure hose (the cap will have an “L” on it).

  • Shake the can well.

  • Connect the refrigerant hose to the low-pressure port.

  • Start the vehicle and turn on the A/C all the way on.

  • While tipping the can 90 degrees back and forth, fill your vehicle (until the gauge reads as the can specifies).
