              Back cover removal
  • Warm up the device to soften the adhesive.
  • Use plastic tools and a little isopropyl alcohol to separate the back cover.

              Motherboard plastic cover removal.
  • Remove the Philips screws secured the plastic cover.
  • Use plastic tool to remove the cover.

              Motherboard removal - part 1
  • Disconnect the battery.
  • Remove the Main cameras.
  • Remove the SIM Tray.

Disconnect the battery.

              Motherboard removal - part 2
  • Disconnect all flex cables:
  • Fingerprint sensor flex cable
  • Screen flex cable
  • Main flex cable
  • Coaxial antenna cable
  • Remove the Phillips screws securing the motherboard to the middle frame
  • Remove the motherboard.

Disconnect all flex cables:

Fingerprint sensor flex cable

Screen flex cable

Main flex cable

Coaxial antenna cable

Remove the Phillips screws securing the motherboard to the middle frame

Remove the motherboard.

Step 5

              Power on and volume buttons flex cable removal.
  • Remove the Fingerprint sensor.
  • Remove the volume buttons plastic cap.
  • Use isopropyl alcohol to easy remove the flex cable.

Remove the Fingerprint sensor.

Remove the volume buttons plastic cap.

Use isopropyl alcohol to easy remove the flex cable.

Step 6

              Power on and volume buttons flex cable removal
  • Use playing cards to remove the flex cable.

Use playing cards to remove the flex cable.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
