Introduction

Clean under it.Put in a new seat.To reach the rear speakers.

And this is a short and easy guide on how to remove the seat. Anyone can do it.

Step 1

              Removing 1997-2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GT Back Seat

Underneath the back seat on both sides will be either a tab or a lever (In mine, it has tabs)

Step 2

Pull/lift the tab/lever on each side to release the seat.

Step 3

Lift up and remove the seat.

Clean the seat or do whatever it is you wish to do.

Step 5

Put the seat back on.
As shown in the first image, be sure to put the seat belt and buckles through the slit on the seat. Otherwise, you will be without seat belts in the back.
As shown in the second image is a hook that goes into the base of the backseat.
The third image is of the tab that the hook on the seat goes into.
When you line up the hooks and tabs, push down hard. You will hear a click when the hooks are fitted into the tabs.
And there, your seat has been taken out and put back in! Good job!
