  • Pull back detached carpet from the floorboard to determine how much carpet is detached.

  • Apply a generous layer of spray adhesive to floorboard.
  • Wear a mask to prevent inhalation of fumes.
  • Wear gloves to prevent the adhesive from sticking to your hands.
  • Perform repair in a well ventilated area.

  • Allow 15-30 seconds for adhesive to dry before attaching carpet to floorboard.

  • Apply carpet to floorboard firmly using hands.
  • This step needs to be repeated until carpet is in place with no wrinkles or bulges.

  • Use a plastic squeegee to tuck the corner of the carpet into the paneling of the floorboard.
