- To repair a short in the wires, the head band has two screws, just above the headphones cups.

- After removing the two small screws, try closing the headband to it’s shortest position. The outer panel will pop out toward the bottom edge.
- You can then slide the panel out from under the collar. The collar may slide out of place while working, but can easily be slid back during re-assembly.

- After inspecting the wire inside, you may notice cracks in the corners were the wires bend when the headphones are folded. I cut a thin strip of electrical tape to use as reinforcement.
- After sliding the collar up, you can extend the wire, giving you better access for wrapping or replacing.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
