What you need
Step 1
Remove warranty sticker
- Disconnect keyboard. from the USB cable.
- Flip keyboard upside down.
- Locate “O.K” sticker. It is at the top-center, above the rectangular product info sticker.
- Remove the sticker. THIS VOIDS THE WARRANTY. Notice that “VOID” text is uncovered when the sticker is removed.
- Use the Spudger to remove the sticker and to avoid scraping the keyboard
- The sticker is already removed in the attached image.
Disconnect keyboard. from the USB cable.
Flip keyboard upside down.
Locate “O.K” sticker. It is at the top-center, above the rectangular product info sticker.

Use the Spudger to remove the sticker and to avoid scraping the keyboard

Step 2
Remove screws
- Unscrew three (3) screws from keyboard bottom.
- Use the Phillips #1 bit
- The screws are circled in red in the attached image.

Step 3
Unsnap device
- Unsnap all eight (8) points connecting the upper case to the bottom of the case. After all snaps are released, lift the bottom out of the housing from the bottom.
- There are four (4) snap points on the top of the case and four (4) on the bottom.
- See image for snap locations. They are highlighted with red rectangles in the image. I drew black ticks with a marker to identify them.
- Prying the Spudger can help loosen the snaps. The small, blue opening tool is also useful to help open the snaps
- DO NOT TWIST the case housing! The bottom housing should be easy to lift from the top of the keyboard if all eight snaps are released.

Step 4
- Turn keyboard over. Remove top housing.
- Clean keyboard. Mine collects skin particles and hair
- I taped a piece of paper to where the three LEDs shine through the housing. See attached image This dims them when they are on. The the LEDs are bright, so dark/thick paper is most useful.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order:
- Place the keyboard on the bottom housing in the correct orientation.Snap the top of the housing back over the bottom housing.Reattach the three screws.
