The spindle lock has issues to where the button is loose and the cover is missing.

If you find your device’s lock button not performing correctly it might be due to the spindle lock being dirty. You can take a pin or a toothpick to clean away the residue.

If your button is clean then the problem might be that the spindle is not in the correct place. Remove the Clamp Nut and the Disc Flarge to show the Spindle. The Spindle needs to be positioned so that its flat edges are in a vertical position. Once you have re-positioned the Spindle, replace the Clamp Nut and Disc Flarge.

The guard that covers the blade is shaking or moving while the grinder is in use.

If you start the tool and the guard starts to shake, shut it off. Before turning the tool back on, make sure that the clasp is fastened down so that it is with the circular part on the bottom of the guard.

If the guard is still moving while the grinder is in use, your problem may have to do with the screw holding the clasp in place. The screw can be tightened and loosened to adjust the clasp. If the screw does not tighten or loosen then the thread on the clasp may be stripped and you may have to replace the clasp with a new one.

There is movement in the handle without pressing the “trigger”.

You would notice this problem when the grip would seem loose without the pressing of the button. This is a sign of a worn out lock button. If broken, you can fix this issue by gluing the button back together.

If the body of the device is broken this could be why the device’s rotating rear handle is shaking and acting unstable. Try to fix this issue by placing an adhesive on the cracks.

The trigger stays stuck even when you aren’t applying thumb pressure.

If you notice that your trigger is lagging then it’s best to clean the sides of the trigger first. Take apart the handle of the device and clean out the trigger. If after cleaning the trigger continues to stick the spring inside the switch mechanism may be sticking.

You can take apart the grip and see if there’s any damage to the switch. If there is no visible damage make sure all wires are connected to the switch. Look for damaged or fraying wires.

The grip is peeling off the handle.

The rubber finish(handle) might be peeling off due to the wear of the glue. Use adhesive on all parts that are sticking up to fix this issue.
