- Use the plastic spudger to pry open the top panel from the center tab.
- Be careful not to break the ribbon connecting the motherboard on the bottom panel to the top panel.

- Pull the ribbon gently from one corner by the blue tab to remove it.

- Use a Phillips Head #00 to unscrew the two 7mm screws on the media controls.

- Remove the white cover from the media controls.
