  • Place the phone face down on the table. Locate a Phillips head screwdriver. Begin by first removing the four screws that surround the upper area of the Samsung phone.

  • Next, remove the side button by prying open the the side of the phone with a prying tool. Insert the prying tool between the back cover and the remainder of the phone. Slide the prying tool to the left, creating a division between the cover and the phone.

Step 3

  • Continue using the prying tool to unlock the phone. If you hear a popping sound you know that you are on the right track. Be gentle as to not snap the screw-posts inside the case.

  • Finally, remove the back cover by gently lifting the case up, ensuring that nothing is still attached to the cover.
