- Unplug the device from the charging dock if it is connected. Power off the device. Then using your fingernails, pop off the back cover of the device.

- Remove the battery from the casing.

Main Body Removal
- Remove the screws using a Philips #00 screwdriver .
- Remember to keep your screws organized!

- Using a metal spudger, pry the mid frame out.
- Do not use a wrenching motion or the screen will crack.

- Use a spudger or your fingernails to disconnect the screen connector.

- Remove the motherboard.
- It should come off easily, if not, some screws might still be connected.
