What you need

  • Begin by using the Jimmy tool to get underneath the screen.

  • Gently slide the Jimmy tool around the entire perimeter of the phone.
  • For an easier removal of the screen, it is recommended to use a heat gun prior to completing this step in order to warm up the adhesive.

  • Carefully lift up the screen and remove it.

              Home button               
  • Locate the socket of the home button.
  • Fit the metal spudger in between the socket and the home button.

  • Take the metal spudger and slide it underneath the home button.
  • Lift up until the home button is removed from its socket.

  • Remove the screws around the home button and the screws above.

  • Pull the screen away from the panel.

  • Pop off panel from plastic hold.
