  • Loosen the back cover
  • To do this, start at the headphone jack and lever between the back cover and the rest of the phone.
  • Keep going around the seam until the back cover is loose. Before fully taking off the back cover, carefully disconnect the fingerprint sensor’s ribbon cable using a spudger or tweezers.

  • Loosen the 7 Phillips #00 screws.

  • First disconnect the battery connector using a plastic spudger.
  • Then disconnect the display cable using the same method.

  • Now you should heat the entire front, either with a cherry stone pillow (wheat bag) or a heating plate, hair dryer, ironing on a low level is also possible if necessary.
  • Then use a plastic tool to pry the top of the camera. BE CAREFUL not to break the camera. Then go around and loosen the display. Reheat if necessary.
  • Pull the cable out of the slot at the bottom, clean the edges.
  • FINISHED!
