I have the same question. I’m sure you’ve taken enough of these apart for repair. (Galaxy s10’s and pluses) Can you guys see what’s at the end of the hole? Any research that I’ve found says that the hole is straight and comes to an end and the microphone is 90° to that, so it cannot be poked by the pin, is this true? (I hope it is, and to give us peace of mind!) I don’t want to have to take apart my phone. I’m sure there are lots people out here that have poked this %#*@ hole and are freaking that we have wrecked a $1600.00 phone! And then, if you could kindly please then post an answer plainly in the instructions for the SIM installation somewhere in the body of this installation article. I have seen no definitive answer to this mistake in any other article that I’ve read. Ifixit is the premiere repair company for phones, this should be solved here. Thanks in advance I hope. I’ve used your services multiple times in the past for various breakages of our family phones in Chicago, you’ve always been great.

I inserted the pin in the microphone hole first. Thank you for setting my mind at ease that I didn’t damage anything,

Where can you order a OEM SM-G975U Prism Blue sim card tray from? I want a genuine Samsung replacement.
