What you need

  • Turn the phone off.

  • Remove the back panel with an opener tool.

  • Lift out the battery using an opener tool.

  • Remove the SIM and SD card.

  • Remove the 10 4 mm Phillips screws on the back of the phone using the #00 Phillips screwdriver.

Step 6

  • Starting at the USB jack, slide the opener around the perimeter of the phone between the rear case and the frame. This will loosen the clips.

  • Carefully remove the back case and middle frame and expose the inside of the phone.

  • Disconnect the foil cable.

Step 9

  • Lift the corner of the board and remove the audio jack.

Work the steps in the reverse order to assemble your device again.
