If your battery is swollen, take appropriate precautions.

- Insert a fingernail or plastic opening tool into the divot to the left of the rear-facing camera.
- Gently pry and twist the flexible rear cover off the back of the phone.

Battery
- Insert a fingernail or plastic opening tool into the recess in the bottom right corner of the battery and lift upward.
- Remove the battery away from the phone.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

I replaced the battery in my phone because it drained fast, and drained completely in any temp below 50, I put the new battery In but when I try to turn it on the farthest I get is the screen that says “Samsung galaxy s5” help?

Do I also need to remove the sim card? Or can I just put a new battery in?

Thanks am replacing glass as well…easy to get the battery and sim out.
