Introduction
Before starting with the replacement guide, remove any dust or debris from the port and try several different auxiliary cords to ensure the root cause of the audio issue is the aux port.
What you need

- Wedge the plastic opening tool in the seam between the screen and the back cover.
- Slide the tool around all the edges and remove the screen from the back cover.

- Unplug the battery connection carefully using the plastic opening tool.

- Lift up the (ZIF) zero insertion force connectors using the plastic opening tool, separating the connectors from the ribbon cables.

- Remove the ten 4 mm Phillips #000 screws holding the motherboard to the device.

- Remove the motherboard from the device by carefully lifting it out.

- Remove the two screws holding down the aux port.
