Introduction
No special skills are needed for this guide, and all the tools needed are shown below in the tools tab. Some of the parts are delicate so I suggest being careful when following the steps.
Before beginning, make sure to power off the device completely.
What you need

Motherboard
- Before disassembling your phone, discharge the battery below 25%. A charged lithium-ion battery can catch fire and/or explode if accidentally punctured.
- Wedge the plastic opening tool in the seam between the screen and the back cover.
- Slide the tool around all the edges and remove the screen from the back cover.

- Unplug the battery connection carefully using the plastic opening tool.

- Disconnect all the flex cables from the motherboard by prying the connectors straight up.

- Remove the ten 4 mm Phillips #000 screws securing the motherboard.

- Remove the motherboard from the device by carefully lifting it out.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
