- Using the prying tool, pry the silver binding from around tablet from glass edge. You will need to go around the device several times applying some force before it comes off.

Disconnecting the battery
- Detach the five wire connection of the battery from the motherboard. You will need to gently insert a flat head screwdriver under the connector, and using left to right motion with your wrist, create a small space separating the connector from its connection. Gradually make the space wider until the connector pops out of its socket.

Unscrewing the battery
- Remove the 6 screws securing battery.

Replacing the battery
- Remove the original battery, replace it with a new one.
