Step 1

              Opening the tablet               

• Using the prying tool, pry the silver binding from around tablet from glass edge. You will need to go around the device several times applying some force before it comes off.

              Disconnecting the flex cable               

• Unsnap all the ribbon cables from the flex cable.

Step 3

              Unscrewing the flex cable               

• Remove the screws securing the flex cable to the chassis.

Remove the screws securing the flex cable to the chassis.

Step 4

              Removing the flex cable               

• Remove the original flex cable and replace it with the flex cable.

Remove the original flex cable and replace it with the flex cable.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
