What you need

Step 1

              Opening the tablet               

• Using the prying tool, pry the silver binding from around tablet from glass edge. You will need to go around the device several times applying some force before it comes off.

              Disconnecting the camera               

• Detach the ribbon cable from the flex cable.

              Removing the flex cable               

• Detach all ribbon cables from the flex cable, unscrew the flex cable, and remove the flex cable. This needs to be done in order to remove the camera which sits underneath the flex cable.

              Removing the camera               

• Replace the original camera with the new camera. It should come right out.
