When the power button is pressed nothing happens.
The device require a specific amount of power from the charging source to recharge. Samsung insists that their 5.0V/2.0A charger is required, but any charger with these specifications should be sufficient.
If your device is not turning on, make sure that the battery is charged. If it is charged but is still not functional, the device may need a new battery. Order a replacement battery and follow this guide on how to replace it.
The device may have a functional battery, but the charging port could be the problem. Try cleaning the charging port and check to see if it is still not working afterwards.

The device powers up, and the screen turns on, but the device is not registering your touch.
If there is excess residue on the screen of the device, it may have difficulties tracking your finger. Clean the screen and retry.
The device’s digitizer is responsible for the function of sensing the users fingers. If all else seems functional, this part could be the cause of the unresponsiveness. Order a replacement touch screen digitizer and follow this guide.
Your device’s storage may be filled with apps, music, pictures, etc. To install more apps and take more pictures you may have to increase the devices storage space.
The device has no more internal storage, and storage space must be added or freed up. You can do this either by deleting unneeded files and apps from the device, or by inserting a removable memory card in the device.
The device is fully functional except for its speaker and or headphone jack, which are either not making any sound at all, or producing low quality sound.
