  • Locate the battery slot on the underside of the camcorder.

  • Locate the arrow marked on the battery slot door and push in the direction the arrow points to open the latch.

  • Release the latch and allow it to fully open.
  • Insert the battery following the diagram marked on the edge of the battery slot.
