- I recommend wearing eye protection to avoid getting glass shards in the eyes. It is very important to heat the edges of the display well with a hair dryer/heat gun to loosen the double-sided adhesive and allow the insertion of a pry tool to open it.
- Insert the pry tool between the colored plastic edge and the glass (not between the plastic and aluminum edge) and begin to separate the display from the body.
