  • Before starting the replacement, turn off the device sure and disconnect all cords.
  • Close the device, lay it face down, and remove the battery.

Step 2

  • Remove the back of the device from the main frame by unscrewing the 14 4.5 mm screws using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
  • Once all screws are out, pry open the back cover piece of the device using a plastic opening tool.

Step 3

  • Remove the four 6.5 mm screws that surround the fan using the PH1 Phillips screwdriver head.

Step 4

  • Manually remove the fan from the device by pulling out the connector.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
