Step 2
- Locate the two sticks or DDR3 RAM. They can be found in the upper right-hand corner.

- Use a plastic opening tool to nudge one clamp holding one stick of RAM outward. If done correctly the clamp should move away from the stick of RAM. Do this with the clamp on the opposite side of the same stick or RAM. The stick of RAM will pop up when both clamps are released

Step 4
- Repeat step 3 with the second stick of RAM. Again, when this is done correctly the RAM should pop up at an angle away from the laptop.

- Perform the previous steps in the reverse order to install two new sticks of RAM into the DDR3 slots. Make sure that the clamps click back in place. Failure to do so could result in non responsive sticks of RAM. If this is an issue, not to worry. Try taking the clamps off and reinstering the RAM.
