Control panel
- In you want, you can pop out the control panel by putting a knife behind it.
- This is not necessary but helps to identify the connections. In my case, pressing the top button connected connector pin 1 to ground (pin7) via a 10k resistor.

Wiring issue
- The problem in my case was the wiring loom that runs through the top hinge of the fridge door.
- As you can see it is broken in multiple places. Its design is a bit poor as the plastic in the hinge is too sharp.
- You can fix it by soldering and covering the connections in shrink tubing.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
